A big challenge for the small MAK-90 and also for the AZ-GTi mount: 114 out of 240 15s exposures at 1250mm and 0.43 arcsec/pixel were good for stacking.

Fifteen seconds at that resolution are particularly good, considering that it is my usual setup for moon and planets and even exceeds the basic Nyquist criterion.

Of course at that resolution and moreover with 15s long exposures, seeing makes the difference and it was just decent, so the overall detail of the nebula is not striking.

I am also aware I have "burnt" the shiniest stars around and in theory I should have taken also shorter exposures and made a multilayered image.

However, I already had to discard many frames not because they were not well enough tracked but because the stacking software did not find enough stars good enough to allow alignment and registration, so shorter exposures would have been even more problematic.

DSO imaging with 90mm F13.8 is not easy, even with a relatively bright planetary nebula.
